There is a profound magic in contradictions. Today, we bring one to life: a warrior whose greatest weapon is her undeniable cuteness. Kiko is a protector, yes, but one who fits in the palm of your hand. I have written this guide to help you stitch not just a doll, but a character full of spirit and softness. May your hook fly as swift as a shuriken.
About This Creation: The Softest Assassin
In the world of amigurumi, we often see bears and bunnies, but rarely do we see action heroes rendered with such tenderness. Kiko bridges the gap between the "cool" aesthetic of anime battlers and the comforting "Aesthetic Compass" of our atelier.
By combining the stark, bold colors of a ninja uniform—midnight black and forest green—with the rounded, baby-like proportions of classic kawaii design, we create a piece that appeals to both collectors of pop culture and lovers of traditional craft. She is designed to be a desk guardian, a silent friend who watches over your workspace with those wide, emerald eyes.

Component 7: Accessories
The Obi (Belt): Using Black, Ch 31. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and across. (30). Tie this around the waist.
The Headband: Using Black, Ch 50 (or enough to wrap around head). Sc across.
The Plush Katana: Blade (Grey): Ch 6, sc back down. Hilt (Black): Ch 4, sc back down. Sew blade to hilt. Sew to the back of the body diagonally.
Assembly & Final Touches
Face Assembly: Before attaching the head, position the Black Mask over the lower half of the face (covering the "mouth" area). Sew firmly along the edges. The top edge should curve just under the eyes.
Hair: Place the wig cap on the head. Arrange the bangs so they frame the eyes without covering them. Pin the longer strands at the back to give them a "windblown" volume. Sew the cap rim down.
Body: Sew the head to the neck opening of the body. Ensure the chin is centered.
Limbs: Sew arms to the sides of the body at Rnd 24.
Details: Tie the Obi belt around the waist. Stitch the headband over the top of the hair (it helps hold the wig in place too!). Attach the Katana to the back.
Tips & FAQs
Q: How do I make the hair look wavy? A: When you crochet the hair strands, the natural tension of the stitches will cause them to curl slightly. Encourage this by twisting them with your fingers as you sew them down.
Q: Can I use felt for the mask? A: You certainly can, but crocheting the mask adds a beautiful texture that matches the rest of the doll, maintaining that premium artisan feel.
